Premature ejaculation and men's health

Premature ejaculation (PE) is probably men's most common sex dysfunction. It's almost the normal for teenaged men to experience it during their first explorations of sex. But for some, the difficulty never goes away, while others discover it returning later in living. Doctors are not quite sure how to define either phenomenon.
How large should sex last?
But what's a "standard" amount of time to wait for ejaculation? The Journal of Reproductive Medication published a study in 2005 that had 1,587 women period sex with a man from initial penetration to climax and found that the men diagnosed with premature ejaculation climaxed in an average of 1.8 minutes, while the others performed for an average of 7.3 minutes—a contrast of just five and a half minutes.  Erections are caused by the release of nitric oxide, a neurotransmitter that's produced in the nerve tissue, which helps the muscles to relax and allows blood to flow to the penis. There are some 30 million men suffering from erectile dysfunction, and several causes have been identified that include poor blood flow, heart disease and obesity. Erectile dysfunction is also a side effect of many common medications, including antidepressants, diuretics, and beta-blockers. Treatment for erectile dysfunction is primarily the prescription drugs Viagra, Levitra, or Cialis. However, this class of drugs has been know to cause serious side effect, such as headache, dizziness, mood changes, heart problems, neuropathy, and even seizures.

Erectile dysfunction and steroids

Erectile dysfunction, sometimes called impotence, affects 10% of the entire American male population. However, less than 5% with erectile dysfunction (ED) seek treatment. What is erectile dysfunction?  And what causes ED?

Penis erection
Blood flow in and out of the penis controls an erection.  During sexual arousal, a blood flow increases to two spongy, structures (corpus cavemosum) that lie parallel to the urethra, which carries urine and semen.
Steroids are derivatives of the male hormone testosterone that are synthetic in nature. They are usually prescribed for muscled man using steroids muscle building, the enhancement of male performance, and to improve a man’s overall appearance. However, there are certain risks associated with using steroids. And these risks have to be seriously considered by anybody who thinks that this drug is the easiest solution to their aesthetic or medical condition.

For starters, high doses of steroids can affect the brain. It is for this reason that these drugs must be regulated and prescribed only by a qualified physician. Steroids affect the brain in such a way it can make a person feel euphoric, excessively happy, or even hyped-up. It can also cause sleep disturbances and serious psychiatric illness. It can also initiate very aggressive behaviours and psychosis. Paranoia and delusions are two of the most common side effects of steroids.

Getting Rid Of Abdominal Fat

Visceral fat, or deep-lying abdominal fat stores, are considered the most detrimental to health. Having large fat stores deep in the abdomen sets you up for insulin resistance, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease. The best way to reduce such fat stores is through exercise and diet. The question is, however, what is the most effective exercise to reduce this dangerous type of fat?
Researchers from Duke and East Carolina Universities devised a study to focus on this issue, reporting their findings at the 2003 American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) annual meeting in San Francisco in late May. The study subjects consisted of 111 overweight men and women, age range, 40 to 65, randomly assigned to either a control group who did no exercise,or one of three exercise groups:

- 12 miles walking each week
- 12 miles jogging each week
- 20 miles jogging each week
The study lasted 8 months. Results showed that those in the inactive control group gained 1.1 kilograms of weight, increasing their visceral fat deposits by 10%. The walking group lost 1.3 kilograms of weight, gaining 3.3% visceral fat. The 12-mile jog group lost 1.1 kilograms of bodyweight, and reduced visceral fat by 5.9%. The 20-mile jog group lost 3.5 kilograms of bodyweight, and 10% visceral fat. Only those in the 20-mile jog group showed a loss of subcutaneous fat (7.6%), or fat just under the skin.
The results of this study show that for purposes of reducing visceral fat, the more exercise, the better. In addition, the level of exercise intensity also is important, as the 12-mile jog group showed superior results to the 12-mile walk group. Another notable point of this study is that visceral fat continued to increase in the sedentary group, showing that future serious health problems are inevitable in obese people who don't exercise.

Bodybuilding and Men's Health

But in fact, bodybuilding has long ceased to be a simple exercise. Rather, it has grown into fitness - culture. In our world, has long been a "cult of the body," we draw beautiful slender girls, muscular men. Be a sport it is fashionable. And surely I am not mistaken if I say that to have an iron health is fine. Sure everyone knows Arnold Schwarzenegger - Iron Man, the world champion, winner of Mr. Universe and other titles. He not only broke all records in bodybuilding and conquered Hollywood and became the example for today's generation of young people. But he started out small.

There is a ridiculous assertion that all bodybuilders suffer from chronic impotence. This myth probably was invented by men, complete, totally ignoring the gym. For them, this is the last reason not to fall into the mud on the background of the person buffed, tanned opponent. Win-win option - after all, no one person in their right mind, would not decide clearly prove this wrong judgment. Although every rule has its exceptions, so be careful, man!

It should be mentioned that this error is not devoid of truth. Indeed, professional bodybuilders and really suffer from impotence. They consciously bring men's health in the body of the victim and the mountains inflated muscles. Exhausting workout, chemical additives, steroids - everything is very negative effect on male sexual health. But among bodybuilders, the percentage of professionals is quite small, so that this myth is not entirely true.

In fact, bodybuilding, not only does not diminish male power, but also significantly reduces the possible sexual problems. The fact is that during the bodybuilding your body produces large amounts of testosterone, which significantly increases the potency.

As proved by scientists, the most effective exercises to strengthen men's health are the squat bar with a signature stamp. Blood rushes to the pelvis actively, open cholesterol clogged blood vessels and your man's strength is growing by leaps and bounds. So you can decide whether or not you engage in sports.
Bodybuilding and men's health, that's what steroids are necessary for a beautiful body.

Inflammation of the prostate

Inflammation of the prostate may occur for several reasons. The reason for the visit to the urologist, as a rule, is a violation of the bladder, resulting from compression of the urethra inflammation of the prostate gland. After that, begin to address the violations of the sexual sphere - there is early ejaculation, erectile disorder, and depression of orgasm. Inflammation of the prostate does not always occurs accompanied by the manifestation of all of these symptoms.

Prostatit is an inflammation, but some specific, particular, the causative agent of this disease have not, so there is no specific symptoms. However, if a man is sick in some chronic inflammatory nature, the pathogens can infect and prostate. Many doctors believe that the development of inflammation of the prostate is related to stagnation of blood in the capillaries. This may occur because of sedentary lifestyles, poor nutrition and poor environmental conditions. In addition, inflammation of the prostate is triggered by backflow of liquid urine that develops due to the high pressure inside the urethra. Then, usually develops a fever urethra, which can move to a more severe inflammation. In other words, the bacterial component is rarely a cause of inflammation of the prostate. The main causes of prostate inflammation are lack of exercise, such as sedentary work. Representatives of the stronger sex, suffering from frequent constipation who have had sexually transmitted diseases are also at big risk of inflammation.

Men & Menopause

Perfect Man does not happen. Everyone has their little secrets, quirks and complexes. It is believed that all systems - from childhood. But there is a category of complexes, which are carefully disguised as individual character traits, and characterized, mostly men.

The man simply must be courageous and strong, he should try to be a leader and never cry. Gender stereotypes permeated the entire male being, - since my childhood ... This belief is often corrupts men, turning them into slaves of their own brutality.

Menopause - a natural stage in the life of man, which normally occurs between the ages of 45 to 60 years. During this period violated the mechanisms of regulation of the hypothalamus, pituitary, testicles, providing its sexual function, decreased production of sex hormones, which in turn leads to a change in hormone balance, metabolism, restructuring of many organs and systems.

For most men, who in his youth observe proper work and rest, regularly engaged in physical exercise, eat rationally, do not abuse alcohol and smoking, nervous and endocrine systems are easier and faster to adapt to the coming of age adjustment, and it runs quietly. And those who have adaptive mechanisms are weakened by disease, injury and, more importantly, chaotic lifestyles, suffer menopause sometimes very hard. They most often develop cardiovascular disorders, neuroses. They do not come to a head hot flashes, sudden reddening of the face and neck, increased sweating, dizziness. In severe, pathological course of menopause is often the hands and feet numbness, tingling of the skin, a flicker of "flies" in front of his eyes. Periodically there is a long time, and sometimes for several days, takes the headache, mainly in the back of the head and neck. Some men, especially masculine and matured, becoming suspicious, irritable and very rapidly, sometimes not adequately respond to the most ordinary situations of life. Often they have lost interest in the work of the same hobbies and appears depressed, unmotivated anxiety.

The reasons for the lack of an erection

The most elementary reason is that every man from time to time there are misfires. Anxiety, general fatigue, chills, a scandal with his partner and other stresses may negate the most Herculean efforts to cause an erection. Doctors do not consider such failure impotence, if they are irregular.

Alcohol and marijuana, along with sedatives, tranquilizers, antidepressants and other drugs that affect the brain (antihistamines, anticonvulsants, and antiemetics) may also lead to temporary loss of erectile capacity. Stopping restores potency, and the transition to a different class of similar drugs, and sometimes it helps to maintain potency and to continue treatment.

Circulatory failure. If sufficient blood flow penis increases slowly or not growing at all. The deposits on the walls of blood vessels of cholesterol-lowering blood flow to the heart, can do the same thing with a penis, impotence, along with manifestations of coronary artery disease increase with age. Atherosclerosis is a leading American disease, in most cases is a cause of impotence.

Along with the prevention of atherosclerosis and dramatically reduces the risk. If the person still suffer the problem, I would recommend him to this diet as a general measure of health maintenance, but not a quick way to restore erections. For this purpose, may need some artificial means, described below, although the X-ray examinations in some cases reveal a local blockade of the arteries of penis, which can be removed surgically.

Any violation of the central nervous system - from a brain tumor to the vertebral disc displacement - can disrupt sexual "function, although the ability to get an erection persists for many people with fairly serious injuries.

Diabetics usually blame the high blood sugar, but actually cause damage to the peripheral nerves - it's bad long-term study of the effects of diabetes, occurring in 50% of cases. Severe vitamin deficiencies also lead to impotence, but American doctors rarely have to deal with it. Surgeons generally have learned to avoid damage to the nerves of the penis during operations on the bladder, prostate and rectum, but some risk remains.

Pomegranate

It is proved that pomegranate juice is very rich in antioxidants, which help to enhance blood flow to the penis. Similarly, there are medications and impotence, they enrich the nitric oxide, which greatly accelerates the expansion of blood vessels. An experiment was conducted, which included 53 volunteers aged 21 to 70 years who suffered from sexual dysfunction, every day they drank a glass of pomegranate juice before dinner for a month. The results shocked even scientists more than half of them said they learned about their success in romantic pleasures.

Scientists believe that pomegranate juice has a tremendous opportunity to treat patients who suffer from Erectile Dysfunction.

Since ancient times, people were grateful for the grenade its curative properties especially for its ability to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease and prostate cancer. Scientists believe it was in this amazing fruit contains more antioxidants than other fruits, apples, currants, red wine and green tea.

Do not let a man grow a complexes

What could be more important for men than always and everywhere to show their worth - both in business and communication, and, of course, in bed?

As a rule, a man feared to be not high enough to make a mistake in bed. Ironically, to make mistakes in sex are more afraid of young and not very experienced man. "It seems she was not happy!" - This is a painful blow to the self-esteem.

You should not scoff at the mistakes of men in bed!

Such a "nuisance" from time to time happens in everybody's life: the reason that there are job stress, alcohol, minor troubles. Worrying about the long-awaited meeting may also affect. And then a lot depends on how you behave in a woman. Indeed, in many ways you can give each other pleasure in bed, to show tenderness and passion.

Is not the best way out - to comfort the man, they say, okay, who does not happen, the next time it happens. Now your man, as the exam will be waiting for that same "next time - and this is the first stone in the foundation of a permanent complex.

On the contrary, try to increase the pressure. Necessary "to do things differently," Change your attitude - that he had a second was left to think about their problems. Show that you are in seventh heaven! And in his memory will not defeat but victory.

Not poked fun at mistakes man!

Even if your favorite poison anecdotes without end, and revered by friends as the possessor of the finest senses of humor, only in a nightmare it can be represented in the center of the absurd story itself. Something that seems ridiculous, men are not respected and not taken seriously. What could be worse than seem funny or awkward at the crucial moment? So try to avoid ridicule in bed. Not ask why he wore shorts with these ridiculous pictures. And do not make comments out loud, how funny he wrinkles his nose during an orgasm. At best, he will now run off on you immediately after the act of love - just not to hear your witty comments. At worst - will disappear forever.

Admire mistakes men!

Most men prefer to be seen as subtle, skillful lovers.
But if he treats you like a crystal vase: asks whether it does not hurt you, it is convenient to you? And it looks like a surgeon, concentrating conducting an operation ... Do not allow yourself or relax or be accompanied by passion. This is annoying: you do in bed, but not at the reception of the Queen of England!

Why is he afraid of losing control?

The basis for this behavior may lie more children experience when the baby has seen something "incomprehensible" between parents who behaved "unbridled": screaming, moaning, and total dedication process. Since then, and sat down in it fear: if you let yourself, you'll look just as scary. Sex therapist will tell you what to do to make your intimate relationships more free, harmonious.

Levitra and ED

The active ingredient in Levitra is called Vardenafil, it belongs to the same class of medicines as Viagra and Cialis called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE-5) inhibitors and hence, all the three medicines essentially work in the same way. The action of Levitra causes the smooth muscle in the penis to relax allowing more blood to rush into the genital organ. As a PDE-5 inhibitor, Levitra (Vardenafil) prevents the action of the PDE-5 enzyme which is responsible for the breakdown of cGMP. This results in an improved blood flow to the penis helping a man to maintain an erection. Levitra does not cause an erection on its own; sexual stimulation is required to help men achieve an erection.
Levitra acts faster and remains effective for a longer period of time as compared to Viagra. While Viagra becomes effective in 60 minutes and remains effective for up to 4 hours, Levitra acts within 30-60 minutes and remains effective for up to 5 hours. Besides, Levitra needs to be taken in lower dosage strengths of 2.5mg, 5mg, 10mg and 20mg whereas Viagra is available in the dosage strengths of 25mg, 50mg and 100mg. Hence, the chances of experiencing side effects are much lower with Levitra as compared to Viagra.
Another reason why many men, suffering from impotence, prefer to take Levitra is that this drug has been shown to be effective and is well-tolerated in a broad range of men including those men who suffer from high blood pressure, diabetes, spinal cord injury, depression and in those who have had their prostate gland removed. Levitra is also reported to have a high first time success rate. A study showed that 74% of impotence patients achieve full sexual intercourse with their first Levitra tablet. According to recent researches, first dose efficacy is the most important treatment attribute, alongside speed of action for men suffering from impotence. This assures men that their condition is treatable and helps them regain confidence.
What is impotence?
Impotence is a common sexual problem that affects a large number of men across the world. Men suffering from impotence face a consistent inability to achieve or maintain an erection long enough to complete sexual intercourse. Though all men face performance failure at some point in their lives, if the problem occurs on a consistent basis it severely affects their quality of life. Men usually associate their sexual prowess with their virility; therefore, not being able to perform is a serious blow to their manliness and hence, they suffer from low self-esteem. Impotence also affects a man's relationship with his partner and sometimes relationships may come to an end because of the absence of sex. Erection problems are common in elderly men above 65 years of age; this is because they are more likely to suffer from conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure that may interfere with the complex process of erection. Thanks to the availability of drugs like Levitra, men with impotence can now enjoy sex by just taking a pill when the need arises.

How is impotence diagnozed or evaluated?

If you suspect you may be suffering from impotence, or erectile dysfunction, your physician can conduct a series of exams and tests to determine if that is the cause of your erection difficulties. The physician will begin by reviewing both your medical and sexual history. It is important to be honest with your physician, no matter how embarrassed you feel talking about the subject. Your physician is there to help you, so make sure you give all of the facts. For example, you may have problems associated with your sexual desires, your ability to maintain an erection, ejaculation or orgasm. Your physician will also review any other medical conditions that you may have that might be the cause of your male impotence, or erectile dysfunction. Drug interference with a man's ability to have an erection accounts for one-fourth of all male impotence cases.

Your physician will also conduct a physical exam. It is possible that your penis is not responding to touching, which could indicate a problem in the nervous system. In other cases, abnormal secondary sex characteristics, such as hair pattern or breast enlargement, can point to hormonal problems. If this is the case, your physician may suspect that your endocrine system is involved.

If your penis has a slight curve or bends to one side, your erection dysfunction could be the result of Peyronie's disease.

If your physician suspects other causes, lab tests will be ordered to help confirm the diagnosis of erectile dysfunction, or male impotence. Tests for systemic diseases include blood counts, urinalysis, lipid profile, and measurements of creatinine and liver enzymes. If your physician suspects there may be a problem with your prostate, he may collect a sample after massaging the prostate, in addition to a routine urine sample. This special sample will contain secretions from the prostate -- and, perhaps, a few clues to the condition. Among patients with chronic bacterial prostatitis, cultures from the post-massage urine sample may be positive for bacteria. If a patient has chronic non bacterial prostatitis, the sample will usually have high levels of white blood cells, which are a sign of inflammation.

And finally, if your physician suspects that your erectile dysfunction problem may be psychological, a test, which includes an interview and a questionnaire, will reveal certain psychological factors to help uncover the reason for the problem. In addition, the man's sexual partner may also be interviewed, to help determine sexual expectations and perceptions during intercourse. The main thing to remember, to avoid health problems need time to see a doctor, who will pick up your good health drugs.

What is impotence?

When a man cannot sustain an erection long enough to have sex, or cannot have an erection at all, he is suffering from male impotence. Also known as erectile dysfunction, it affects over 15 million men each year in the United States. Men in their 40s may suffer an occasional incident of impotence, and in most cases, it is only a temporary condition. Impotence is sometimes caused by emotional or relationship problems, but if symptoms continue, you should make an appointment with your physician. Impotence treatment options will be explained to you by your physician, who can determine if it is being caused by psychological or physiological conditions.

When a man is suffering from male impotence, it may cause emotional pain and issues between him and his sexual partner. If left untreated, not only can it cause physical complications, but self-esteem problems as well. It is only natural to not want to discuss sexual problems with your partner or your physician, but open communication is the key to finding an impotence cure that works for you.
What are the causes of impotence?
When an erection begins, the man's penis becomes filled with blood as blood vessels are enlarged to allow for an increased flow. Impotence, or erectile dysfunction, can sometimes occur when the erection process is interrupted. For an erection to take place, a precise series of events occur, which begin with nerve impulses in the brain, spinal column and in the area surrounding the penis itself. As those nerve impulses begin to signal interest in sexual activity, the muscles, fibrous tissues, veins and articles respond and an erection takes place. However, if any of those signals are disrupted, it can result in erectile dysfunction instead of an erection.

In some cases, impotence may be caused by a disease, such as diabetes, kidney disease, multiple sclerosis, vascular disease, chronic alcoholism, or neurological disease. Other possible causes of male impotence include recent surgery, especially radical prostate or bladder surgery for cancer. If any areas surrounding the penis were injured during surgery, problems with erectile dysfunction could result.

Injury to the penis, spinal cord, prostate, bladder and pelvis can lead to erectile dysfunction by harming nerves, smooth muscles, arteries and fibrous tissues of the area around the penis.

Another common cause of male impotence are problems associated with prescription drugs that affect nerve centers. Blood pressure medication, antidepressants, antihistamines, tranquilizers and other prescription drugs can produce erectile dysfunction in men. In still other cases, the cause may be attributed to psychological factors, including stress, anxiety, guilt, depression, low self-esteem, or even fear of sexual failure. The main thing to remember, to avoid health problems need time to see a doctor, who will pick up your good health drugs.

Male impotence can also be caused by problems with the prostate, including an enlarged prostate, a prostate infection or prostate cancer. Every year, more than 2 million American men are diagnosed with prostatitis, a term that means "inflammation of the prostate." A few men with prostatitis have clear signs of a bacterial infection of the prostate. Doctors call this condition bacterial prostatitis. In roughly 90 to 95 percent of cases of prostatitis, however, there's no clear sign of infection. Doctors call this chronic non bacterial prostatitis or chronic pelvic pain syndrome. Sometimes men suffering from prostate problems will have difficulty getting and sustaining an erection.

Healthy prostate diet

I wanted to talk to you about a healthy prostate diet. It is so important in these days to take really good care of your prostate. There are so many men out there that are having serious problems and even getting cancer due to their own neglect. The prostate plays a very significant role in the body and when it gets an infection or something that isn't normal it throws your whole body off. There are many symptoms when you have a problem such as having to run to the bathroom to urinate all the time, or even pain when you urinate. I am going to discuss with you information on a healthy prostate diet.
The key to prevent any sort of prostate cancer and/or infections is done through anti-oxidants. This is a relatively new area of study in biology, but it is proving to show why people get sick and get cancer. I'll spare you the details of what it is since it is basically high school chemistry. The point is that you need foods that will stop the oxidization of free radicals. Study after study after study has proven that the best thing a man can add to their diet is onions. It is an extremely powerful anti-oxidant that has been proven to prevent prostate cancer.
The healthy prostate diet can be tough to achieve. The vast variety and diversity of food that you need to eat to get every single nutrient the prostate needs is virtually impossible for the average person. In this case you can take natural medicine that will help give you the balance you would have difficulty achieving with a diet. The main thing to remember, to avoid health problems need time to see a doctor, who will pick up your good health drugs.

The problem of the reluctance of men to a professional takes great extent, people are not accustomed to turn to doctors with the problems of intimate nature. Meanwhile urologist better able to address the problems of impotence.
Types of impotence
Organic impotence
The organic impotence - is the progressive deterioration of potency, characterized by lowering the quality of erection. In this form of impotence night and morning erection does not happen.
